The initiative launches 4 videos of women and their inspiring stories of overcoming challenges

 

Delhi, June 21, 2019:  AND has always stood by empowering women by making them feel like the best version of themselves. The brand’s aim has always been to celebrate women and their perseverance. To take this one step forward, #ANDiRISE was launched as a platform for women to share their stories of grit, determination and breaking stereotypes. 

 

Channelling the values of the brand, AND unveiled 4 beautiful videos as part of their ANDiRISE initiative at their store in Ambience Mall, New Delhi. They showcase a treasury of inspirational stories of women from different walks of life. Featuring International swimmer and fitness enthusiast Rujuta Bhatt; creator of the Modern Sufi, Vani Kabir; IT professional & aspiring life coach Manisha Mangret; and architect, writer and founder of Moms & More Namrata Kalia - each relay their own personal story of overcoming barriers to become their best self. 

 

Putting things into perspective is Manisha Mangret who shows us that having a positive mindset is half the battle won - it is what allowed her to come out stronger from a prolonged relationship she had with an acute medical condition. For Namrata Kalia, losing her mother at a very young age put her in a shell but it was her daughter that helped her evolve, change, and achieve. Single mother, Vani Kabir shares her dilemma with her identity after her divorce and how she took on her son’s name, breaking all possible stereotypes. Sportswoman, Rujuta Bhatt was always one to follow her passion since a young age, and through her determination, she was able to rise on top after having to face hard-hitting challenges that tore her down.
